Square Symphony is a concept for an interactive sound installation I created in 2023. Although it hasn’t been produced yet (as of 2024), the concept eventually evolved into Orienteering Sounds, a similar sound installation concept with found objects.
Concept
The sound installation consists of an array of bell chimes on tables laid out in public space. Participants will pick up a sheet with orienteering courses printed on it, whereby they should choose one of these courses and play the chimes in the order of checkpoints specified by it.
